Nowhere Is Everywhere

I close my eyes and imagine somewhere else.
A sparkling darkness becomes a canvas that isn’t anywhere.
I supply the lighted images, give birth to a story.

It includes longing, and something that resembles a self.
I lick some poison, fly through a few smoke rings, sit
down at a table and work out other’s differences.

Holding hands with the sick, I touch heads and
provide a healing current, without bombast and attention,
and witness a refined realm and align in silence.

Remembering that bones are essential, I set intention to
the marrow of non-thought. Boneless cognition allows light to
penetrate and cultivate. This profound diamond shimmers.

The sparkling darkness is nowhere else but here, so is the
omniscient light, reminding of the piercing crescendos aimed
at someone you love, of greeting cozy habits with refined dissent.

Nowhere is everywhere.
